My Favorite Artist

Music makes me feel alive. The chaos that surrounds us can be therapeutic or deadly. Some songs send positive shivers down my spine while others make me change the station or focus on less mind-grinding events or objects amidst a sound I cannot control. It is reminiscent of sensing the high and low energies around me and making a choice about whether or not to stay in the energy. This can be applied to other areas of life; a social situation, walking through nature, having a conversation with an individual. It is a quiet reminder that we cannot always change what sounds surround us, but we can choose if we want to pay mind to them.
My daughter loves pickles, so had to try this recipe; its marinating now, will report back on flavor!

Homemade tomato sauce with pasta and peppers. Was an improvised recipe from the link below, where I used the remaining white and apple cider vinegar mixture from the Pickles to thin it out, and some of the leftover bell peppers from the Pickles. I used leftover al-dente boiled pasta from a previous Chicken Piccata dish that I made (one of my FAVORITES). [Cooking for one, even a half box of spaghetti is a lot]. For that recipe, I boiled a whole air-chilled chicken for my dog's dinner, and recycled the juice into seasoned chicken broth. You can also use the boiled chicken for chicken salad, stir fry etc., and the whole chicken is much cheaper than buying the chicken separately. Plus you get the bonus of bone broth.
